SkinTyte uses Broadband Light (BBL) technology, the world’s most powerful IPL (Intense Pulse LIght) device on the market, to deeply heat dermal collagen. This process promotes partial denaturation and contraction of collagen.   • What is the treatment like?

    You won’t have to go under general anesthesia or get pricked by any needles to prepare for SkinTyte. Instead, we’ll lie you down and use the handpiece on the treatment area(s) to deliver high-intensity light energy. We administer the energy through a sequence of rapid pulses, repeating the sequence to ensure you receive the best results. 


    As your skin heats, a powerful cooling mechanism keeps the outer layers of tissue unharmed, ensuring that you stay comfortable the entire time. After only 35 to 45 minutes, you’re all set! 

  • What areas can be treated?

    SkinTyte treatments can be performed on any area of the body where an improvement in your skin firmness is desired. Popular areas include the face, neck, chest, abdomen, and hands. 

  • How many treatments will I need?

    To get the best results, you’ll probably need more than one treatment with the SkinTyte device. During your consultation, you’ll get a better idea of how many sessions would require. Most people see maximum results after 3 to 6 sessions spaced three weeks apart. Your nurse may also combine SkinTyte with other popular aesthetic procedures we offer to further personalize your treatment.

  • What aftercare do I need?

    No special skin care regimen is required following treatment. However, you should always protect your skin from direct sun exposure and use a good sunscreen. Your nurse can also recommend an at home skincare regimen if desired. 

  • How soon will I see results?

    You may start noticing results of SkinTyte right away, but the treatment area(s) will continue to improve up to six months after your treatment. So definitely be patient and allow collagen to work its magic. Soon, you’ll truly see why SkinTyte works as a great alternative to surgery.
